Mr. Remant Kumar Mishra [Artist]


He was born in January 2nd 1983. In 2014 the Government of Bihar, conferred with the Madhubani artist state award, receipient of CCRT schorlarship of India Government 1995. He worked as an assistant Professor of Madhubani paintings at Mithila art and paintings institute set up by the government of Bihar in 2018. He has participated in some international fair and exhibition abroad to name a few; International fair at Surajkund continuously in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, furthermore; International art festival in 2015, Save the tiger project in 2016, Save the panda project of WWF 2016, China’s international art and  craft festival in 2016 2017 & 2018, International art and craft festival at Colombo 2017, International art and craft festival at Singapore 2018, and not omitting his National fair and exhibitions in various India locations.

He has been awarded Accolades awards several times, as Best display award by ministry of tourism Government of Pondichery 2011, Delhi Sahitya Kala Samman 2012, Haryana tourism award 2012, Award of honor by government of Goa for conducting Mithila painting workshop in 2010, United art festival award 2013, Government of Bihar award 2013-2014, Pondicherl cultural award 2015.

He has conducted workshops at Baroda and succeeded in training 60 students in Madhubani Paper mesh art in 2016, also at Mumbai he imparted in the cureg craft training in 2017, alongside with Ananya Birla the grand daughter of Aditya Birla, and he also trained 2000 school children [6 schools] for 1 week in Madhubani art 2018.

His paintings have been displayed at important places, in Central bank officers training college Kolkata 2006, Central bank officers training college Bhoda 2015, Government guest house 2018 and Power of grid  corporation 2019.
