Eri silk is produced from the silkworm named Samia Cynthia Ricini that feeds mainly on castor leaves. The process of silk production from the silkworms doesn’t involve any type of killing of the silkworms and hence, Eri Silk is the only domesticated silk product in India, unlike other types of silk.

The handblock technique of Ajrakh is 4000 years old, started is Indus Valley civilisation and now it’s prevalent in Kutch and Rajasthan. This technique have 14 to 18 stages in its process.

We ship to European Union region including United Kingdom. Our Shipping fees vary from region to region and are decided as per the DHL service charges. You can find the corresponding shipping fee at the time of check out.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

As a company policy, we do not provide a refund on any product sold. Once the products are sold they can be exchanged for a replacement or a credit note (provided the below-mentioned terms and conditions are met).

  • You must inform us within 7 days of delivery of the product. Please send us an email at sk@shilp-world.de with the order number and attach an image of the craft purchased. 
  • We will inform you of the shipping address via email. The cost of shipping the product back to us is to be borne by you. When we deliver your corrected order, Shilp World will take care of the shipping.
  • Please ensure that the product is in its original condition and packaging. Item(s) which show manhandling will not be eligible for returns or exchanges.
